Ah, so you were interested in more than my humble studies? A warning, samurai: do not ask unless you are not afraid to receive answers. The courts are a dangerous arena, and a misplaced question can oftimes be more dangerous than a sword. No, I try and stay away from the courts these days. I find them disagreeable recently: too little co-operation and too much mindless posturing.

So you also believe in greater co-operation? Don't we all, samurai, don't we all. These terrible events recently have left many wishing that they could find some way to combat the great evils afoot throughout the empire, and left others wondering why the Empire is not better protected against such things. Some say the fault is in the administration: the Empire has talented individuals to lead the necessary fight, yet they are not given the information or support that they need.
