Personalities (16 to 20)
First of all, what are you playing?
If you are playing military then what you need to think and worry about is the personality`s honour requirement, force/gold ratio, and ability.
For honour runners you need to take a close look at the personality`s personal honour/cost/honour requirement and defensive/passive ability.
What should be the based personalities of those decks? Here are some exemples and explainations;
Military
3x Isawa Jun: At first Jun seems expensive, but remember she can cost up to 4 gold less and maybe give you up to 4F (from her and her follower).
3x Shiba Tsukimi: Every about her is good, and after buying one of her for full you can buy everything else for cheap(2 gold less).
3x Agasha Seruma: One of the greatest Phoenix personality, he helps to speed up your deck.
3x Shiba Danjuro: 2 gold(You should not buy him for full) for 2F and a great ability.
These 12 personalities should be the core of your military deck. How many should you add? I`d put up to 20 personalities but no less then 18. Pay attention the your personnalities honour requirement!
Hidden City addition(s):
1x Kaneka: Let`s face it, he is miles better then Mirabu, he should be in almost every military decks.
3x Shiba Koseki: A most exellent military personnality that has a very good Force for gold ratio if you have a Shugenja in play. Give a +2 chi bonus to Jun and look at your Tsukimi turning into monsters!
Honour
1x Isawa Ningen exp(linked): A great personality, but his honour requirement is above 6, if he comes up first turn don`t be afraid to discard him.
3x Shiba Tsukimi: She`s 6 gold for 3PH (personal honor), you won`t find a better deal!
3x Shiba Danjuro: While he has only 1PH his ability to save your shugenja is a must.
3x Isawa Toshiji: Again 6 gold for 3PH but his honour requirement is above 6. As with Ningen if he comes up to early, just discard him.
3x Agasha Seruma: All around great stats.
These 13 personalities should be the core of your honour deck. How many should you add? I`d put up to 18 but no less then 16. Pay attention to personal honour and abilities!
Hidden City addition(s): None, not to say all personnality from Hidden City are bad but none of them should be in almost every honour deck.
